House of Shinsegae is an immersive luxury retail space within the Shinseage department store in Gangnam, Seoul.

The concept of the ‘house’ was an integral part of the store, symbolising House of Shinsegae as a place of elevated comfort and experiences.

As an integral part of identity the pattern is inspired by this concept. Taking different perspectives of a 3D house, the sides have been expanded to create an abstract pattern reflective of the ‘unboxing’ experience and the delight of conceal and reveal, intimacy and discovery.
